Despite how it starts over a boy, I was really fond of the Shay-Tally "break-up" and how it plays out in Pretties. Not enough books have hardcore fallouts between friends and it felt authentic.

How much is this series BEGGING to be made into a film. It's so visual.

Hi! I'm a new follower.
I've been hearing a lot about this series. Your review convinced me to put it on my TBR list. Thank you!

Happy Reading :)

@Rhiannon: I quite enjoyed the conflict between the two, but would have much preferred it if they'd been painted as rivals from the start. Frenemies can be great fun, but I just didn't find the initial fallout between Tally and Shay convincing - largely because I hadn't seen it coming at all! I'm totally with you on the movie front, though - even if it would be difficult to achieve given all the appearance changes.

@Caroline: I enjoyed the first two books a lot but, I have to say, Specials didn't really work for me as a conclusion. If Pretties didn't end on such a cliffhanger, I'd actually suggest just reading the first two!

Thanks for the follow and I'm now following you as well :)
